Dubai Islamic Bank Collaborates with APPS to Disrupt Online Payment Landscape Via Payfast
Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan & APPS have collaborated to transform online transactions through Payfast, APPS’ payment gateway. Customers of Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan can transact safely via their Debit cards, Bank accounts or mobile wallets using APPS’ vast ecosystem of merchants which range from schools, billers, mutual funds, marketplaces, and other entities.
APPS, which is also the TPSP of the thriving payment scheme UnionPay International (UPI) in Mobile Payments, will enable Quick Response (QR) and Host Card Emulation (HCE) related transactions in Dubai Islamic Bank’s Mobile App.
The entities are aiming to digitalize more segments in the county’s digital eco-system. This collaboration will enable payment services that are fast, simple and secure. Payfast is the future-proof catalyst that will enhance Pakistan’s digital landscape.
